Nedging Hall Estate
A family-run Estate in the heart of rural Suffolk
The first appearance of Nedging Hall in the local records was in 1487 coinciding with the end of the War of the Roses. The Estate itself covers 5,000 acres, deep in the beautiful Suffolk countryside located between Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich.
The flagship property of the estate is Nedging Hall. This Estate has been in the family for over 30 years, and currently in the capable hands of eldest grandson, Charlie. The Hall itself sits in the middle of over 80 acres of parkland within the wider farm area.
The farm has been focused on reintroducing ancient woodland areas, hedgerows and ponds. The Suffolk Punch has been one of the passions of the family since arriving in Suffolk, we still have a brood mare and foal born in 2022 who oversee all goings-on on the Estate.
Nedging Hall sits within a wider group of hospitality businesses; Nedging Hall Estate Ltd has grown to include Suffolk’s oldest brewery, two pubs, a 3 AA Rosette awarded hotel and restaurant and a exclusive use country house.
The Bildeston Crown, Bildeston
